The first two are adorable in my opinion, little comedic fairy tales with an Ume twist. Everything was smooth until the 3rd episode.

The 3rd episode is an attempt at 3D animation. I'm not sure why they chose to experiment with it, but I felt like it killed the whole cute feeling. Also, it didnt seem as well planned/plotted out as the first two.

Oh god! I've been looking for these and when i found 'em, god! the first 2 very very funny, i loved how the love rivals were kinda boke and tsukkomi xD! and then the little 7 ossans! (7 gnomes or dwarves... u'll see) god!

Mgx Season 2 In 2024?

But then... the third one! Oh god! U guys need to watch this one! I mean, it's in 3D! The shaberi-pins so adorable!! Oh god! So much spoiler! Just watch and u guys'll pray, kill or whatever for a 3rd season!!!

These specials are short stories similar to fairy tales like Cinderella and Snow White with a very humorous casting of roles with characters from the series. For example Shouta would obviously be the prince, and believe it or not Kuronuma plays the witch. Who's the princess then? That would be Ume, but trust me for the sake of purely comedic purposes, she does not ever find a happy ending.

It's great ... to hear the voices of the characters again and for the small run time, it certainly packs enough laughs and awesome in it. These aren't your cheap, lazy, ordinary specials people. I had a ball. Lol Overall rating? Well yeah, it's an 8! What else? It's like those square mini chocolate bars. It's delicious but given the choice, you wouldn't mind having a full size Snicker or Milky Way...

To be honest, I’m not even exactly sure where the emotions lie anymore, I just know the two want to get together. There’s been way too much back and forth ambiguity in their words for me to keep track of where they’re emotionally at, so it’s like trying to piece together some kind of human enigma. One problem with the past few episodes is the repeat of several things, making it feel like things weren’t going anywhere, such as Sawako’s confessing to Kazehaya about how grateful she is for him. Like, apparently telling Kazehaya one more time about how she’s changed was STILL her believing Kazehaya didn’t like her, and that she’d prove to him the new her with the festival performance. I mean, it makes sense, but it’s kind of bland as a story. This is probably my biggest issue with the series as a whole. But of course, things have to be different after her confession, and yet it was still a complete surprise when Kazehaya suddenly answered her feelings back in public. I couldn’t help but spread a big smile across my face smirking at all the shocked onlookers. “Yeah that’s right peeps, love has been declared.” Oh, AND THANK YOU FOR DRAGGING EFFING JOE THE INTERRUPTER AWAY.

Although it’s to the point where it’s being shoved in your face, a large part of the episode was dedicated to simply how far Sawako has come since the beginning, an aspect that has actually been brought up almost every episode this season, so I didn’t get as much out of it as the directors might have intended (

). Instead, I enjoyed the little things from a first love coming through, like the excitement of a simple text message from the person you’ve just confessed to, and watching Kazehaya experience genuine happiness (

). And to wrap it up in a neat bow-tie, the title “Kimi ni Todoke” finally comes into play, with their “likes” cleared up in a brilliantly romantic final scene. It’s the scene of purity that I felt was missing last time, and well, they delivered. Seriously, I felt like I’ve seen the two standing like that with their heads bumped in my dreams or something (

With two episodes left, hopefully we’ll at least get to see the new couple BE a couple. Well, unless acting like a couple takes them as long as it did confessing… FFFFFFDo you like pink-ish, sweet romances that makes you smile whenever you see the main couple blushing? Do you like awkward, but pure, innocent, untainted romances? Well if you’re like,

Kimi

, then Kimi ni Todoke is definitely for you. It revolves around friendship, love and unrequited love. It’s one of my favourite animes, but the show is rather slow-paced, and sometimes the characters can be rather slow and silly, which is cute in a way I guess.

Film Review: Kimi Ni Todoke / From Me To You (2010)

The show revolves around a girl named Sawako, which kind of looks like Sadako from horror film “The Ring”, due to her long, black hair. As a result, Sawako is usually shunned and feared by her classmates, leaving her alone most of the time. However, she is being misunderstood. She’s actually a really nice girl inside, but is too afraid to make friends, although deep down inside, she yearns for a group of friends by her side.

There’s a boy in her class, Kazehaya, which character’s the opposite of hers. He’s outgoing, smiles most of the time, and is constantly surrounded by friends which naturally crowd around him. At first, Sawako secretly admires Kazehaya from afar. After making friends with Kazehaya, many opportunities to make new friends came and Sawako slowly realises herself opening up. However, she feels differently towards Kazehaya, and little did she expect Kazehaya to feel the same way towards her too. From friends, they realise their growing feelings for each other but both parties were at a lost of what to do.

Not to forget, they’re both really awkward, but nevertheless, they seem to compliment each other very well. However, the thought of the other party reciprocating the feelings back never came to mind, especially for Sawako. She thought that what she was experiencing was unrequited love, because Kazehaya’s nice to everyone, so she’s kinda part of everyone and not special in any way. But in the end, both of them overcome obstacles together and further understand each other better. Everything’s just so cute and innocent you’d have to watch it to experience the bubbly feeling inside of you just ready to burst out.

Kimi Ni Todoke Season 2 Episode 2: 'tis A New Year For Our Lovely Cutie Pie :3

I think I’m about to explode from all the doki-doki blushing scenes. Well let’s not forget the friendships that Sawako forged throughout the 2 seasons, with the help of Kazehaya, and later, Miura. She smiles so much more than she did in the past, and her schoolmates seem to accept her and treat her normally, unlike before. We also discover Sawako’s talent in teaching, in which gives her all the more opportunities to make more friends.

-

Insert scary suspense-ish music here- We also see love rivals in the show, but how can our lovely main couple ever remain separated? A pure, innocent love can’t possibly be tainted. I enjoyed the inclusion of Kento Miura, because he was voiced by Mamoru Miyano. Yay!

There’s even a live action movie for this, and I’ve watched it. It’s not bad for a live action movie, especially if you’re a huge fan of Kimi ni Todoke. If you’ve enjoyed the anime, I highly recommend you to watch the movie. Well, you can’t expect too much because real life people can’t blush that excessively like in animes.

Kimi Ni Todoke Series Watch Order

When watching Kimi ni Todoke, it’s best that you don’t watch it while people can see your face because you’re just going to look like a creepy stalker while smiling paedophile-ish-ly at the computer screen whenever Kazehaya and Sawako scenes appear.Anime DVD Kimi Ni Todoke Staffel 1+2 + Live Action Film englischer Untertitel - ursprünglichen Titel anzeigen Ursprünglicher Text Anime DVD Kimi Ni Todoke Season 1+2 + Live Action Movie English Subtitle
