After arranging a business meeting to talk finances back in series 1 of Doctor Foster, Suranne Jones' character enjoyed a steamy romp with accountant Neil Baker, played by Adam James.
Now two years on from the one-night stand, intrigued Simon Foster – played by Bertie Carvel – takes his opportunity to grill his former neighbour about his sordid night with the doctor.
As the two reunite for the first time since Simon's return, the evil character suddenly asks Neil what it was like when he slept with Gemma, going on to ask if it was fun and what Gemma got up to in the bedroom as foreplay.

Slyly, he goes on: Did you have fun? Did she strip off at the end of the bed because she likes to take her clothes off in front of you?

The pair's infidelity was revealed in the series one finale as the GP blurted out her secret while having dinner with the Parks', also outing Simon and Kate's affair.

The second series picked up two years after the first with Kate and Simon returning to Parminster from London with their baby girl.
As the trio returned, they settled into their new lavish house with a big housewarming bash and Simon invited his son with Gemma, Tom, along.
