Hi Bye Mama Lesson

Hi Bye Mama Lesson

Maybe I just love Kim Tae Hee or the kid is super cute, but I love this drama so much so far. This concept is nothing new to kdramas and I’m a sucker for it because the stories told are always so heartwarming – we’ve seen something like this in 49 days and Come Back Ajusshi. While I weeped a lot when it came to 49 days and laughed a lot for Come Back Ajusshi, I’m getting a mix of both for Hi Bye Mama. It’s aimed to be relatable tells us stories and the lessons from ghosts (similar to Hotel Del Luna).

Cha Yuri (played by Kim Tae Hee) is a ghost who’s wandered Earth, watching her child grow up for the last 5 years. After cursing out the heavens, she returns to Earth for 49 days. However, her return poses a problem for her husband (Lee Kyu Hyung as Jo Gang Hwa), who has just finally started to move on with his life (? question mark because I felt like he hasn’t really moved on yet but he has remarried). While we do want to root for Cha Yuri, I don’t have any hard feelings for Min Jung, the stepmom (played by Go Bo Gyeol). She’s not the bad guy and we sometimes feel bad for her too because parenting is hard and I wholeheartedly believe that she’s trying her best – not that we know so much about her intentions besides gossip from the kindergarten parents. I’m not exactly sure what her story is yet but I do want to know more soon.

Hi

I’m not really worried about how this drama is going to end this time. I just want to enjoy every episode as it is since we’re getting such great and relatable content so far.

K Drama Review] Hi Bye, Mama!

“I thought death was just about leaving this life after making the most with the time God gave me. But I realized after my death. My life wasn’t entirely mine. Even when facing death, something doesn’t let you only think about yourself. It’s family.” – Cha YuriAfter years of watching her from a distance, a mother is finally able to hug her daughter for the first time. This scene is one of many emotional and heart-warming scenes in the Korean TV show “Hi Bye, Mama!”

This show brought up so many different emotions. I remember laughing and crying all throughout the show. The cast of the show was also amazing. The lead female actress Kim Tae-Hee managed to portray her character so perfectly to the point that I felt such a big emotional connection to her character and that goes for the rest of the cast as well.

“Hi Bye, Mama!” is a show about a woman named Cha Yu Ri who tragically died leaving behind her husband and newborn baby. For five years, she had been wandering Seoul, South Korea as a ghost watching over her daughter. After those five years, she gained a second chance at life for 49 days but to continue the rest of her life, she has to take back her place as her husband’s wife and her daughter’s mother. The only catch is that her husband had been remarried during those five years leaving Yu Ri and her family in a very tough spot.

Hi Bye, Mama!” Warms Hearts And Teaches Lessons

This show was fun to watch but it also taught so many important lessons and morals about life. One example of that would be how the show tries to convey the message of living life to the fullest and not worrying about trivial things. There were so many themes of family throughout the show and it felt like the writers were trying to emphasize the importance of family and staying close to loved ones. They also conveyed the message of treasuring life and wanting to have no regrets.

“If I had known the time given to us was this short, I would have treasured every insignificant moment, ” said Yu Ri’s husband after losing her. I felt this quote really conveyed the message of the show and how important it is to cherish every moment in life whether that moment is big or small.

When you’re looking for an emotional and eye-opening TV show, then “Hi Bye, Mama!” is undoubtedly a show I would recommend for you.Hello everyone! This post is a little bit late from my normal posting time because I realized that I haven’t removed the spoilers and added the images when I scheduled the post. I originally wrote this one a week after I finished it last month because I can’t shut up from talking about this to my friend, who’s not yet done watching this drama and I don’t want to spoil her. 😂

(2020) is a heartwarming South Korean drama about life, family, and a mother’s love. Cha Yuri is a ghost mom who has been with her family especially to her daughter, Seo-woo, and her husband, Gang Hwa, since she died five years ago. Things changed when she was given 49 days to live and a chance to stay and become human again if she takes her place back within those days. However, how can she take her place back if her husband remarried and Seo-woo loves her deeply? What could happen? and why was she given this chance?

I binge-watched this drama for three days and it was worth it! It will make you laugh and cry. This is that kind of drama that will make you think and reflect on how you’re living your life and how you are in your relationships. I don’t know how this post will go, I just want to share some of my thoughts, what I like and dislike, and some of the things I learned from watching this drama.

Review:

I love the friendship of these four. It’s funny watching them bicker with each other with the two women (Cha Yuri and Hyun Jung) versus the two men (Gang Hwa and Geun Sang). In times of trouble, they have each other’s backs. The problem of the other one becomes the problem of everybody. I especially love the friendships of each team. I appreciate how they portrayed that kind of friendship that is not perfect but real. The one that will always be there not only in times of happiness but also in times when your whole world collapsed. The one who will try to understand you even when you’re really hard to understand. The one who will not only do crazy and fun things with you but will also cry with you.

Hi Bye, Mama” Main Cast Says Goodbye To Their Drama Ahead Of Upcoming Finale

Not to mention that the bond that was formed between the two bestfriends, Yuri and Hyun Jung, with Min Jung have chemistry. It came in about half in the drama or a little late than that. I love their tandem and how they help Min Jung’s character development from a quiet and somewhat reserved attitude to a fighter! haha You’ll know what I mean when you watch.

Min Jung is Gang Hwa’s new wife and she loves Seo Woo like her own. They didn’t portray her as an evil stepmom which I admire in this drama. I was torn between Yuri and her. I would like Yuri to go back to her rightful place but that will make my heart ache for Min Jung because she’s been nothing but a sweet, kind, loving, and caring wife and mother. I would also like Min Jung to stay because it’s already her family but that will also make my heart ache for Yuri because she lost her life saving her daughter and she didn’t even get to hold her when she gave birth and it breaks my heart for what could have been her happy family with Gang Hwa, judging from their relationship flashbacks.

Worth

There will always be the kind of neighbors who gossips. There were really no characters to hate in this drama, but I just got a little irritated with the school ajummas. But I guess, that’s life. There will always be people who will not like you and who will always have something to say that’s not nice about you.

Strong Women Characters Cast As Mothers In K Dramas

What I love about this is Hyun Jung. She’s that kind of person who interferes while the ajummas gossip and tells them to mind their own business. That instead of gossiping about other people, why not talk about their own life, maybe, just maybe, they can help each other in any way and find solutions to their problems.

There are the ghosts who choose to stay in the living world and refuse to get ascended because they still want to watch their loved ones. They are already dead but they are still worried about the people they left behind. It seems like they only care about their loved ones but it turned out that they also care about their fellow ghosts. At the end of the day, when things are tough, they have each other’s backs. They share their stories and regrets. They are like one big family and some of them also have their hi bye moments not only
