This blog is made with the purpose of verifying that Sid's Family were considered as (albeit minor) but that they are still cruel and selfish characters. For the recreation of the article to be possible, the support of the users will be counted on and they will give their opinion if these characters deserve to be considered , for which one or more admins must give their approval.

Ray Romano Ice Age 4: Continental Drift
Sid's Family are a group of ground sloths and Sid's biological family. Them are overarching antagonists from the entire Ice Age franchise, being unseen antagonists of the 2002 film Ice Age and minor antagonists in the the defunct Blue Sky Studios' 7th animated feature film Ice Age: Continental Drift.
They are quite unnatural and rebuke with Sid and Granny in such a way that they consider them a nuisance, which is why they prefer to get rid of them. They are also known for being petulant and belittle their relatives who are considered deficient or a disaster that hinder their good life, worrying more about what suits them.
Eunice was voiced by Joy Behar, Milton is voiced by Alan Tudyk, Marshall is voiced by Ben Gleib and Uncle Fungus is voiced by Eddie Piolín Sotelo.
Ice Age: Continental Drift / Funny
They have always been inattentive to Granny and Sid (especially the latter), looking for any opportunity to lose sight of them by not doing anything right.
Every year they managed to leave Sid without remorse or compassion, which did not work for them since he always returned to them. Despite the fact that Sid was forgotten by his family on so many occasions, he never realized that they did not feel any affection for him.
There was an occasion in which they decided to elaborate a very cruel plan to never see Sid again; Before he woke up, they tied his hands and legs, blocked all the entrances to the cave, erased his tracks so that his trace would not be found and left him a fierce mouse to take care of him.

Before the migration, they inhabited an old oak tree until they abandoned it in the morning to quietly escape from Sid while he was still asleep.
Sid woke up when his tree was shaken by animals migrating south, he began calling his family members by their names: (Zak, Marshall, Bertie and Uncle Fungus) to warn them of the migration. Wondering where his family had gone, Sid realized that he was abandoned again and from then on he would have to live as a loner.
In this film they make their very first phsycal appearance. They reunite with Sid apparently feeling guilty for leaving him behind and searching for him. However they reveal their true colors when they reveal that they just wanted to dump Granny to Sid and they go away, leaving Sid disappointed and he never sees them again. After they escaped on their sled nothing is known about them and what would have happened to them after the continental drift.
Ice Age (diego X Female Reader)
Once Captain Gutt's ship was destroyed, a fragment of it is used by the Sub-zero Heroes as a boat. Right there, Sid, disconsolate, asks his Granny why his family never loved them both and she replies: because they are a mess and never do anything right.
They do not appear again after their physical debut, but are mentioned at the beginning of the story when Ellie says that they abandoned Sid.

Fungus, along with the rest of the family, by that point entailing Sid's parents Milton and Eunice, their son Marshall and the eldest member of the group, an elderly sloth named Granny, returned to find Sid, traveling down the snowy mountains in a hollowed-out log which they had tied Granny to. During the ride, Fungus called out that they should lift their paws in the air, releasing his body odor towards the others. During the ride, the log hit a saber-toothed tiger named Diego, who Eunice hit in the face before the family of sloths were compelled to hold on tight as the log hit a rock, flinging Diego towards the back of the log, as Fungus and the others ducked.
Moments after, the log stopped and they were all flung out of it, nearly colliding with a number of other animals. Fungus, however, landed directly on the face of a mammoth named Manny, and was peeled off and thrown aside. Fungus, chuckling at this, was then pounced upon by Diego, who threatened to eat him. Fungus' nephew Sid then arrived on the scene, sparing Fungus from being eaten. Sid was overjoyed at seeing his family again and embraced his parents and brother.
At first, Fungus and the rest of the family acted as though they were happy to see Sid again. But once they had Sid lead Granny away and both were out of earshot, Fungus and the rest of Sid's family cheered aloud and rushed back to the log, pushing it towards another downhill slope. While Fungus and Milton were helping to push the log, Eunice explained to Manny, who called out that they couldn't simply abandon Sid again, that things were falling apart back home and that Granny was dead weight. The four sloths rushed off inland on their log, never to be seen again by Sid.

A filthy middle-aged ground sloth, Fungus was part of a family of other ground sloths, though his countenance caused them discomfort at times. Coated with a great deal of moss and fungus in his already-greening fur, Fungus didn't bathe or tend to personal hygiene.
Like most of the rest of his family, Fungus was shown to be very shallow; always attempting very hard to get rid of Sid, abandoning Granny as dead weight, and returning to Sid only to dump Granny on him and then abandon him again.
Film designer Peter DeSève considered it fun to establish what Fungus looked like, as he had only been mentioned once in passing in Ice Age.
