Aot Manga Sales

Aot Manga Sales

Im not hearing how big the manga sales boost of the Final Season right now and google does not give any good results

AOT manga has always had high sales, I'm not sure about the sales after s4 but before that it had pretty high numbers... so I'd just assume it got higher

AOT's

Western manga sales do not bring big numbers unlike japan manga sales numbers though so i was thinking of japan manga sales

Attack On Titan Ranks 10th In 2020 Manga Sales, Selling 4.3 Million Volumes

Ohhh, idk then but it would probs be identical wouldnt it? i think Japanese people love aot as much as the western do since it has like what 100 mil sales?

Ye but its weird there is no news about boost in manga sales anymore and the 100 million copies in circulation was there for years now it never grown pass that even after S3 and now S4 of the anime so its obvious the manga sales are stagnant if there is no considerable manga sales boost

Idk about the boost of sales thingi or anything manga related in Japan buttt AOT volumes have been selling like 500-900k copies for like the past arc in English (don't know about the others but prolly the same) and yeah I've seen that 100 million copies a while ago, but it's still a large number tbh. Also, If it's the number 6 franchise in the US then it probably means its doing good in the west.. idk about japan tho

Attack On Titan 14

As you can see the sales of Attack on Titan plummeted its used to be averaging 500K-700K copies per volume thats why im asking if there is really no official news of a manga sales boost because with this anecdote date the sales are not as good anymore there in Japan

It actually got a huge boost. For only Jan month AoT had a total sale of 2 mil. And in 2020 it's total sale were around 4 mil. So, yes final season had effect on sales.

Compared to JJK the boost might not seem that big. JJK is in the new series boost phase, it has 14 volumes for backlog sales. So, yeah a popular manga like JJK is going to sell like that.

Attack On Titan The Final Season Part 1 Manga Box Set By Hajime Isayama

And these are sales for only last week, most of it are backlog sales not for the new volume. Per volume sales are higher than 2 million I think. Unlike weekly series AoT only releases 2 or at most 3 volumes a year. It's overall sales are averaging 3mil+/vol.

What I think is that SnK manga sales will remain roughly the same as from 2020. Maybe slightly higher but not by much

Attack on titan use to average 500k to 700k per volume or even more before the anime came, out, it beat bleach in 2012 before its anime for example.

Attack On Titan Sales

Prime attack on titan after its anime sold over 2 million per volume, but now sales are down it average 1 million per volume.

Backlog sales has increase since the anime, snk manga sales is around 3 million at this moment. the latest volume sold close to 1 million already, that is the weekly sales that you are looking at, I thought you follow manga sales, but it seems you haven't.

How

Snk sold 4.3 million last year and came #10, it is already at 3 million and we are only in March, which means by the end of the year it will definitely sell more than last year.

Attack On Titan Anime Finale Sparks Manga Sales Boom

Around that with only 1 volume released so far, compare to last year we got 4.3 million with all 3 volumes being released.

Sales could go up once the final season ends and the manga ends as well, so based off the current trajectory, I will predict the series will sell around 6 million by the end of the year.

The Final Season has boosted the manga sales atleast 2 million copies. It has about 11 weeks of 200k average boost from backlogs.

Best Selling Manga Of 2016

It’s actually a very good boost. Haven’t had boost like this since Season 2. AoT anime has been out for 8 years almost, it’s backlog boost has already peaked back during 2013-2015. Season 3 Part 1 and 2 didn’t even reach top 10 charts with its backlog boost once, while The Final Season has keep it in the top 10 every week since it started.

I think I wanted to attack something. Like betraying people or hurting people. And, well, it's not exactly nice, but hurting the readers too... In all honestly, I feel that's what I really wanted to do. For me, as a reader, when I think, this manga will remain in my heart, it means, for example, it phenomenally hurt me: It's those kinds of experiences I'm after. - Pajime Hisayama (My favourite hurting author).

Attack On Titan' Publisher Kodansha Searches For Next Manga Hit

It's the 3rd most popular manga of the last decade after One Piece and Demon Slayer, how is that not super popular?

You know it's pretty dumb to expect a huge boost when the first season came out 8yrs ago. Most of the fans are already up to date.

When the anime came out, AoT's sales for first 14 volumes (Japanese) was around 45 million. I don't think any series has surpassed those numbers for first 14 volumes since then. Tho KnY has surpassed everything after anime.

Manga Sales In Japan

It's doing pretty great considering for 30 volumes it has sold 100 million. It's almost maintaining its average. And 100 million puts it in top 20 manga of all time.

It's not only 1 million bro, it's 1 MILLION, where are you getting this comparison from, 1 million is a huge boost for a 11 yr old series.

Do Americans Or Japanese Watch More Anime?

So there will not be enough new fans that will increase the circulation numbers pass 200 million copies at least during this Final Season promotion?

Attack On Titan (shingeki No Kyojin)| Japan Anime Guide

Bruh, you're expecting 200 million? and for new fans, it's not gonna increase so much. Again where are you getting these numbers? this is even more insane popularity than KnY. AoT has been going on for 11 yrs, it's 5th season is currently airing, it has done enough advertisement for most. It's not a new series anymore that people didn't know abt.

And it's not making money ? I'm pretty sure the profit just from streaming services was enough. On top of it, manga sales increased, collaborations started, merchandise etc.

The

Seriously tho, you're thinking 200 million is how much it should increase and only then it will be profitable, that's simply a 10x KnY moment.
