The two are considered the mascots of the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade series as they've appeared more times in the promotional videos for the arcade game than any other avatar. Beat has been a mainstay with the spinoff since its conception, while Note would later join in as his partner-in-crime in the 3rd mission of the original Missions. In most media that they appear in, they seem to have a healthy and understanding respect for one another. And in some cases, there's even implications that one might like the other.
In Super Dragon Ball Heroes: World Mission, Beat just moved into Hero Town and would see a game of Super Dragon Ball Heroes being played live in the Hero Tower. He's fascinated by the action being played out by competitors Note and Froze.
Later on in Chapter 1, Beat would enter Hero Tower after being recruited by the Hero Master before he would notice Note for the first time. They were both selected to be part of the SDBH team, but Note quickly challenges Beat to a game of SDBH to prove what he could do as a rookie. He would defeat her twice before Note shows her respect to her new comrade.

In Chapter 3, a powered-up Broly attacks Beat after assuming that he was Goku, but manages to attack and knock out Note instead. Enraged, Beat would transform into a Super Saiyan for the first time, despite not using his in-game avatar, and defeats Broly with the help of the Time Patrol. After the battle, Beat rushes to Note's aid and is relieved that she was okay, implying his growing feelings for her.
During a sub-mission in Chapter 4, Beat and Note discover an anomaly that leads to an alternate timeline where Minotia was never killed by Hirudegarn. After completing the battle, Beat notices Note crying. She tries to deny it at first, but later confirms it as she believes that despite it being against a Time Patroller's rules, she liked this anomaly due to what could be seen as a good future.
Beat, Note, and the rest of the Heroes team would band together to prepare for the final battle against Sealas. With little options left, Beat gets the help from Note and friends to become a Super Saiyan Blue without the need of the Hero Switch.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes
In the Victory Mission Manga, Note would confront Beat after hearing word from Sora about his improvement in playing Dragon Ball Heroes. He would be given a letter of sorts by her, which immediately leads to him thinking that he was being given a love letter by a girl that he just met. It turns out to be a challenge letter instead. After Beat wins the game, he would tell Note that they'll both get stronger before starting their new friendship and talking about their cards.
When Beat and Note confront the latter's friend Forte, she assumes that Beat would lose to Froze in a DBH tournament that they're attending. During their match, Note shows concern for her spiky-haired friend, while Forte teases how disappointing it is for her boyfriend to be in this situation. During the Area Representative qualifier, Forte calls Note to see if her boyfriend was still competing, with Note denying that he's her boyfriend. She would also defend his actions while trying to convince his mother and grandfather to let him save the world via the arcade machines. Both would cheer each other on and express their motives to save reality both in and out of the game world throughout the battles with the Shadow Dragons.
Beat even expresses great sadness when Note and Forte gets knocked out during the battle, despaired at how he wasn't able to save them in time. Thankfully, towards the end of the manga, Note and the rest of heroes help Beat defeat Great Ape Broly with the Spirit Bomb.
